Support Brain-Based Care in Illinois

Join us in advancing awareness, education, and community support for individuals living with FASD.

Whether volunteering, partnering, or donating, your involvement contributes to a shared vision of empowerment, inclusion, and sustained well-being.   Stay connected through our events, campaigns, and social media to be part of this vital movement.

WhY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

FASD affects an estimated 1 in 20 people, yet Illinois has:

  •  Minimal diagnostic resources
  • Few professionals trained in FASD-specific intervention
  • No dedicated state funding for FASD services
  • Families waiting years for answers and effective support

The Center for Neurobehavioral Guidance bridges this gap by providing:

  • Discounted monthly support groups for caregivers
  • Affordable professional training (often at reduced rates for community providers)
  • Clinical consultation to improve care quality statewide
  • Advocacy for expanded FASD awareness and services

We rely on donations to keep our services accessible and sustainable.

How your donations help:

Your contribution directly supports our work to expand access to specialized care and education for families and professionals serving individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Donations help us provide:

  • Discounted monthly support groups for caregivers navigating complex diagnoses
  • Professional training and consultation for mental health providers and educators
  • Resources and materials for families and providers
  • Technology access and meeting space to reduce participation barriers

Every bit helps!

Every donation—whether $10 or $1,000—helps us reach more families and train more professionals to provide neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed care.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

The Center for Neurobehavioral Guidance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
